HOW TO SEND A PARCEL

A parcel is accepted on the Post Office counter where the content is assessed and weighed in order to determine the appropriate tariff. Thereafter, payment is made and receipt issued to the customer across the counter.

HOW TO AVOID DELAY AND RETURN OF A PARCEL

Write clearly the addressee's and sender's name, address and contact phone numbers (if available). Ensure the parcel is properly wrapped and packaged. Use the appropriate Post Code Number, if you are not sure of a Post Code Number, please contact the nearest Post Office for assistance.

Ensure proper declaration of the content of the Parcel in the appropriate column on the item label (receipt).

Ensure that the parcel does not contain any of prohibited item.

Our parcel conveyance is designed in such a way that it covers the commonest means of transportation viz. Road, Air and sea.

Parcel Post Venture ensures the delivery of Inland parcels within 48 hours and 72 hours for International (Overseas parcels).

• Overseas parcel (International documents/merchandise) meant for delivery in over 100 international destinations (foreign countries)

• Inland parcel (Local documents/merchandise) meant for delivery nationwide.

• Parcel packet (branded cartons of seven different sizes and customized wrappers)

• HOME DELIVERY of parcels – recently introduced postal innovation (Universal Postal Union -  UPU) which is to enhance speedy delivery of parcels to addreesses.


DISCOUNT/REBATE:

Discounts/rebate are granted to parcel customers whose patronage ranges as follows:-
• N20,000.00 – N100,000.00 = 10%
• N100,001.00 and above = 12%
